We’ve been outside all day playing around in the snow, and now it’s time for some hot chocolate and a warm blanket! If it’s snowing where you are, I hope that everyone is staying safe and warm…It’s such a blessing to live to see another day, let’s not take it for granted. Once again, have a wonderful evening!

A good way to maintain or lose weight is to always start your day off with a healthy breakfast. This gets you going in the morning and can set the course for the rest of your day! And don’t skip meals, try to eat a light snack between breakfast, lunch and dinner. And if at all possible, try to walk for at least 30 minutes a day. I will be posting some healthy recipes a little later.

Hello again, it’s been a long day and to top it off it’s snowing outside. Gotta love the snow though! The kids can’t wait to make snow angels and snowmen.
I hope everyone has had a good day. Even though it’s cold outside, I’m nice and warm inside. Have a great evening everyone!!

I wanted something that I could do and still be there for my kids. I saw a commercial on becoming an Independant Avon Representative. I must say I was impressed with what I saw and it only cost me $10 to get started, that was the amazing part. I love working my own hours and not answering to anyone but myself. I love being able to provide a product that will actually work. And I’m not just saying this because I sell the products, I actually use the products!
I just wanted to share this opportunity with all of you, it’s helping me and it could help you as well.

We know how our kids love eating things that aren’t always good for them. Now we have to be creative when trying to get them to eat something that’s healthy for them. My son and daughter both love eating apples. So what I do is put peanut butter on my sons’ apple slices and I put a little bit of cream cheese on my daughter’s apple slices and they absolutely love it!
I found a great recipe that your child would love. It’s called the Incredible Edible Veggie Bowls.
Prep time: about 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 green, yellow, or red pepper, washed
- 1 carrot, washed and peeled
- 1 bunch of celery, washed
- your favorite salad dressing
Utensils:
- knife (you’ll need help from your adult assistant)
- cutting board
Directions:
- Cut the pepper in half (from side to side). Clean out the seeds and gunk from the inside. Now you have two pieces. One will be your pepper-shaped bowl.
- Cut the other half of the pepper into skinny slices.
- Cut the carrot into skinny sticks about 4″ long.
- Cut celery into skinny sticks so each one is about 4″ long.
- Put a little salad dressing in the bottom of your pepper bowl.
- Put celery sticks, carrot sticks, and pepper slices into the pepper bowl.
- Now you’ve got a portable veggie treat! You can pull out the veggies and eat them with a little dressing. Then when you’re finished with the veggies, it’s time to eat the bowl!

Welcome to my website thanks for visiting!
I thought I’d create a website for all the moms out there who are always taking care of others and sometimes forgetting to take care of ourselves. It’s so easy to do, cooking, cleaning, running errands, taking your kids to school and let’s not forget school functions!!! I love doing all of these things, but now it’s time to take a little time out for myself.
I decided to the gym and I have to say I feel so much better since I joined. This is going on my second week and I couldn’t feel any better. We have to take care of ourselves, because if we don’t who’s going to look after the people we cherish the most.. So that’s my thought for the day moms!
Please feel free to post something about your day or any advice that you may have for another mom out there.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
